Pusharotters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. lemon zest
    2 tsp. orange zest
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. raisins
    3/4 c. milk or enough to make a biscuit-like mix
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 grated apple
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients (except raisins and nuts) and stir until smooth.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Roll into small balls and deep fry
    until brown.
    Drain on paper towels and dip into icing.
