Coffee Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. instant coffee powder
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. brandy
    1 1/2 Tbsp. rum
Preparation
    Combine sugar, coffee and water in pan.
    Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla, brandy and rum.
    Pour into sterilized jars.
    Seal. Store in cool, dark place for 2 weeks.
    Makes about 2 cups.
    Great for gift!
    Make about 3 months before giving it away.
