Philadelphia Dutch Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. pickles, sliced
    3 c. sugar
    4 tsp. canning salt
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 bell peppers
    2 medium onions
    1 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Combine and mix all ingredients and cucumbers in large pan. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, no longer.
    Pack in sterilized jars and seal with hot lids.
