Green Tomato Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. green tomatoes, quartered
    8 pods hot pepper
    1 gal. onions (before cut), diced
    1/2 gal. bell peppers (before cut), diced
    2 Tbsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 pt. white vinegar
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar, salt and pepper in vinegar.
    Add tomatoes, onions and bell peppers.
    Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Makes about 12 pints.
