Meat Ball Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. softened bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 large can tomato soup
    1 large can condensed beef broth
    6 medium potatoes
    6 carrots, scraped and sliced into 1-inch pieces
    8 small white onions
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Combine the first 7 ingredients.
    Shape into 24 meat balls. Brown meat in cooking oil in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
    Add meat and vegetables.
    Bring to a boil or until vegetables are tender. Add parsley.
    Serves 6 to 8.
