Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked chicken, diced
    1 c. cooked carrots
    1/4 c. diced onion
    1 c. frozen peas
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    2 tsp. poppy seed
    8 refrigerator biscuits
    fresh mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Simmer together carrots, onion and peas until onion is clear. Lay chicken in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cover with vegetables.
    Pour on 2 cans of soup mixed with poppy seed.
    Bake mixture at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Place 8 biscuits on top.
    Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
