Fred Brown'S Chili Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto or pink beans, cooked
5 lb. lean ground beef
3 onions, chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 (No. 2) cans tomato sauce
2 (No. 2) cans chopped tomatoes
1 large bottle ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
Preparation

The secret to the taste of the beans is preparing the mix. Brown in skillet individually the ground beef, onions, pepper and celery.
Combine those ingredients with tomato sauce, tomatoes, ketchup, salt, pepper and chili powder.
You will need a large pot to combine these ingredients.
(Do not add beans yet.)
Let simmer 2 hours.
Now add the cooked beans and simmer another 2 hours, stirring frequently, so as not to burn.
