Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (basic, without pudding mix)
1 egg
1 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. reserved cake mix
2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Pour over crust and place in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
Cool thoroughly overnight and cut into bite-size squares.
