Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 whole eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 1/3 c. plain or cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
    1/3 c. cocoa
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add eggs. Sift flour, cocoa and salt together; add to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.
    Let cook for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Pour marshmallows over top.
    Return to oven for 10 minutes (no longer).
    Cool cake for 1 hour, then frost.
