Apple Cheese Pancake Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
4 egg whites
5 Tbsp. granulated sugar
4 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. milk
2 c. finely chopped apple
1 c. shredded Gjetost cheese (can substitute Edam)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
lemon slices
sweetened whipped cream
Preparation

Butter a 10-inch skillet.
Wrap handle in foil.
Heat in 400\u00b0 oven.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually beat in 1 tablespoon sugar; continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Beat egg yolks well; beat in milk and flour mixture.
Fold in apples, cheese, lemon juice and egg whites.
Spoon into heated skillet; spread to edges. Blend 1/4 cup granulated sugar with cinnamon; sprinkle on pancake.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until baked and glazed.
To serve, garnish with lemon and whipped cream.
