24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 head cauliflower
    1 lb. bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Tear lettuce into pieces and cut cauliflower into pieces.
    Fry bacon and crumble.
    Layer lettuce, cauliflower, bacon and onion in large dish.
    Mix mayonnaise, sugar and cheese together; pour over salad.
    Do not stir.
    Cover tightly for 24 hours.
    Uncover, toss and serve.
    Serves 8 to 10.
