Mom'S Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
3 c. peeled and finely chopped apples
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium saucepan, heat margarine, sugar and water until sugar melts.
Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse corn meal.
Add milk and stir with a fork only until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn out and knead just until smooth.
