Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
4 to 6 slices bread
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Beat egg until foamy; stir in milk and vanilla.
Cut each slice of bread in half.
Dip bread halves into egg mixture, turning to coat sides (not soak)! Measure and pour corn flake crumbs onto a plate.
Coat bread evenly on both sides with corn flake crumbs and place in single layer in a greased 9 x 12-inch baking cake pan.
Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake in oven approximately 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Serve with jelly, maple syrup or powdered sugar.
