Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
    6 level Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Melt butter and mix with sugar, then flour.
    Dough is dry. Oil and flour baking dish or small spring-form pan.
    Flatten dough in pan and refrigerate for one hour.
    Do not refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for one hour.
    Check in 30 minutes and 10 to 15 minutes thereafter, don't let it get too brown on top.
