Ingredients

2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaped up)
3 egg yolks
pinch of salt
dab of butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut
3 egg whites
Preparation

Heat milk. Mix cornstarch in 1/4 cup of milk and add beaten egg yolks. When warm, mix all together and cook until thickened. Add coconut. Put in baked 9-inch shell.
