Lydia'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. rice (raw rice)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/2 qt. milk (add more as you go along)
    2 eggs
    1 c. raisins
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook water, rice and salt for 7 minutes per instructions with raw rice.
    Add butter and milk and cook on low for 1 1/4 hours.
