Croutons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. basil (optional)
    1/4 tsp. oregano (optional)
    dash of garlic powder (optional)
Preparation
    Spread bread slices with butter.
    Sprinkle with herbs.
    Stack slices and cut into cubes.
    Put on cookie sheet.
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 60 minutes or until crisp.
    Makes 2 cups.
