Texas Brag Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sour pitted cherries
    1 c. sugar
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 yellow cake mix
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) oleo
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Pour cherries into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle sugar over cherries.
    Pour or spoon pineapple over cherries and sugar.
    Add the cake mix over all.
    Cut oleo and spread over cake mix, then spread or sprinkle coconut over oleo.
    Sprinkle pecans over all. Cover with foil lightly; bake at 325\u00b0 until done.
