Maryland Crab Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh backfin crab meat
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
5 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Remove cartilage from crab meat.
In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper together well.
Pour mixture over crab meat and fold in lightly but thoroughly.
Form into six cakes.
Saute in butter for 3 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
