No Mess Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. spaghetti sauce
    12 oz. lasagne noodles (not cooked)
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    garlic powder
    salt and pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    24 oz. cottage cheese
    12 slices American cheese
    8 oz. or more grated Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup spaghetti sauce in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Add a layer of noodles.
    Spread half of ground chuck on top of noodles, then sprinkle garlic powder, salt, pepper and half of onion.
    Spoon on half of cottage cheese, then some American cheese.
    Cover with 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce.
    Repeat, using rest of ingredients. Pour on 2 cups spaghetti sauce.
    Press down; pour on hot water gently over top.
    Press down again.
    Cover with foil.
