Chocolate And Oat Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsifted flour
1 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter; mix well.
Reserving 1/2 cup, press remaining oat mixture on bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake 10 minutes.
Pour sweetened milk evenly over crust.
Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
Top with remaining oat mixture.
Press down.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool, then cut.
Keeps well frozen.
Makes 36 bars.
