Chili 101 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion and garlic until it crumbles and no longer pink. Drain. Add tomato sauce, seasonings and water. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer. Stir occasionally. Cook 30 minutes.
