Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. hot water
    2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    6 drops red food coloring
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until clear, on medium heat.
    Add food coloring and nuts and boil to hard ball stage.
    Take from heat and add margarine and vanilla.
    Stir until dull.
    Spoon onto wax paper.
