Slush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. flavored gelatin (can select desired flavor or color)
    6 c. boiling water
    2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
    4 (1 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    In a 6 quart container, combine sugar and gelatin powder.
    Add boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add pineapple juice; mix. Pour into plastic containers and freeze at least 24 hours.
