Ingredients

1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/4 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/8 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/8 tsp. vanilla
6 to 12 oz. chocolate chips (to taste)
Preparation

In a large bowl cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla, blending until sugar no longer crunches against bowl.
In separate bowl combine flours, soda and salt.
Add to a large bowl and blend thoroughly.
Add desired amount of chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet (grease first time only).
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Yields approximately 4 1/2 dozen decent sized cookies.
