Cheddar Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    2 medium carrots, grated
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Bring broth, carrots and broccoli to a boil in saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Set aside.
    Saute onion in margarine until done (not brown).
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk; cook and stir until thick.
    Add broth, carrots and broccoli; heat mixture.
    Add cheese; heat thoroughly.
