Twin Mountain Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with milk, stirring only enough to mix.
    Fill well-greased muffin tins to 1/2 full.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Yields 12 muffins.
