Frosty Mandarin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. jello
    2 c. boiling water
    11 oz. mandarin oranges
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Drain oranges; reserve liquid.
    Add water to make 1 cup.
    Add to gelatin.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Blend in sherbet and mandarin oranges.
    Pour in 1-quart mold.
    Chill until firm.
