Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. Swans Down cake flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sweet milk
    6 large eggs or 7 or 8 small eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 tsp. rum
    1 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Cream sugar with butter and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour first and last, alternately with milk.
    Add extracts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Do not open oven door until then.
    Check to see if cake leaves sides of pan.
    Bake in a tube pan.
    Start in cold oven.
    Have ingredients at room temperature.
