Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 eggs
2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
5 bananas
1 large can crushed pineapple
16 oz. tub Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped nuts
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Melt 1 stick butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs.
Put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Mix with mixer at least 15 minutes, the other 2 sticks of butter, the eggs, the sugar and the vanilla flavoring.
Pour this mixture over the crumb crust.
Slice the bananas and place on top.
Put the pineapple on top of the bananas. Drain first and use the juice to brush on the bananas and pineapple to keep them from turning brown.
Put Cool Whip on top of fruit. Sprinkle this with nuts and add cherries.
