Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. instant coffee
    1 vanilla bean or 2 tsp. pure vanilla
    1 fifth bourbon, brandy or vodka
Preparation
    Boil sugar and 2 cups water for 4 minutes. Dissolve coffee in the other 2 cups heated water. Add to boiling sugar water. Cool. Add liquor and pour into gallon jug with split vanilla bean.
    Let set 30 days.
    Shake daily.
