Buttery Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/3 all-purpose flour, sifted
    4 eggs
    1/2 qt. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon peel, grated
    6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream together butter and the 1/2 cup powdered sugar until fluffy.
    Add 2 cups of flour, beating until blended.
    Spread evenly over the bottom of a well-greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
