Sweet Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3 large cans cling peach halves
    1 cinnamon stick
    1 Tbsp. cloves
Preparation
    Make a syrup of sugar, vinegar and cinnamon stick. Simmer 15 minutes. Stick the cloves into the peach halves and drop into the syrup. Remove immediately. Delicious with fresh ham. Fix peaches 2 or 3 days ahead.
