Bonnie'S Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole cut up chicken
    salt
    flour
    Wesson oil
Preparation
    Wash chicken real good. Put self-rising flour in a deep bowl, enough to batter chicken in. Pour enough Wesson oil into skillet so it is half way full. (Iron skillet if you have one.) Turn heat to medium and let oil get hot. Salt chicken and batter real good in flour. Put into frying pan; turn heat down between medium and low. Cover frying pan with lid. This helps to keep chicken moist. Fry until golden brown and turn chicken over to other side. Chicken is done when both sides are golden.
