Prospector'S Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans (16 or 20 oz.) red kidney beans, undrained
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    3 or 4 tomatoes, sliced thick
    2 or 3 onions, sliced
    1/4 lb. bacon, cut crossways in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    Combine beans, Worcestershire sauce and thyme; set aside.
    In 9 x 13-inch pan, layer bean mixture, tomatoes and onions, ending with a layer of beans.
    Top with bacon.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours. Check occasionally.
    Serves 6.
