Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium green peppers
2 1/2 slices toasted bread
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 bouillon cube
1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. tomato juice
1/3 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation

Cut toasted bread into 1/2-inch cubes. Saute onion and celery in butter 2 minutes. Add beef and saute, stirring constantly until browned. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add to meat. Heat thoroughly.
Fold in bread cubes.
Fill peppers with hot mixture.
Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake in a greased shallow baking dish at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cook additional 5 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0 to brown tops.
Serves 4.
