Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. raw apples
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 box white cake mix (any brand)
    1 c. oleo
    cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Place 3 or 4 cups raw apple slices in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Pour 1/2 cup of water over apples.
    Sprinkle sugar over apples.
    Cover with cake mix.
    Melt oleo and pour over cake mix.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Frozen or canned apples may be used.
