Soubise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    2 lb. onions
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt
    3 to 4 Tbsp. heavy cream (optional)
Preparation
    Boil
    rice for 5 minutes.
    Drain. Peel and chop onions. Heat butter and oil in baking dish.
    Stir in onions and rice. Cover pan and place in preheated oven at 325\u00b0.
    Bake 45 to 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.
