Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 c. diced onion
    1 c. (4 oz.) chopped mushrooms (drained)
    1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
Preparation
    Place shortening, onion and mushrooms in large skillet.
    Cut steak; add to skillet and brown.
    Blend in remaining ingredients. Mix well.
    Cover tightly.
    Simmer for 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Before serving, blend in 1/2 cup dairy sour cream.
