Congo Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter and add brown sugar.
Beat well and cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well.
Add chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
Spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 in preheated oven.
