Cora Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks (save juice)
    1 can apricot halves, cut up (save juice)
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. diced Cheddar cheese
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1 small pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Use juice from pineapple and apricots to make 1 3/4 cups. Cook pudding and juice until thick and clear.
    Cut up the fruit and add the cooled pudding.
    Refrigerate.
