Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ham bone or 3 ham hocks
    8 c. water or less
    1 lb. small soup beans (navy), soaked overnight
    1/4 tsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. thyme (more for taste)
    1/2 can medium tomatoes
    1 can tomato soup
    3 stalks celery, cut up
    1 small onion, diced
    1/4 green pepper, diced
    1 small turnip
    3 carrots
    3 small potatoes
    1 c. noodle products
