Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 c. thinly sliced peeled apples
    1 recipe Crumb Topping (follows)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. caramel topping (ice cream topping)
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add apple slices and gently toss until coated. Transfer apple mixture to pie shell and sprinkle Crumb Topping over the apple mixture. Place pie on cookie sheet and cover edges with aluminum foil. Bake in preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped pecans and drizzle caramel on top. Cool on wire rack and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
