Chili Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. red or pinto beans
1 large piece salt pork
2 large hot chili peppers, chopped
1 onion, chopped up
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 can tomato paste
Preparation

Wash beans and take out dirt or rocks.
Place in a large bean pot or large cooking pot with lid.
Cover beans with water.
Add salt pork, cut into small pieces.
Add chili peppers, onion, chili powder and tomato paste.
Cook slowly until done or soft, overnight in bean pot (slow).
