Clam Fritter(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. clams (Bay quahaugs)
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
2 tsp. grated onion
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Drain clams and chop.
Sift all dry ingredients together. Combine eggs, milk, onion, butter and clams.
Pour into dry ingredients.
Stir until smooth.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into hot fat (350\u00b0).
Fry about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain.
