Christmas Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 doz. eggs
1 lb. bacon
1 lb. sliced or grated Swiss cheese
approximately 8 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed
milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Add enough milk to bread cubes to moisten.
Cut bacon into tiny pieces and brown until crisp; drain and set aside.
Beat eggs and seasonings and pour into a heavy buttered skillet and stir as for scrambled eggs.
When nearly done, add cubed bread and milk mixture and cook a little longer.
Into buttered casserole dish, layer egg mixture, then Swiss cheese, then crumbled bacon until all used up.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
Bake, covered, in 275\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven until cheese melts.
