Chipped Beef Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. chipped beef
    3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    3 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper as desired
Preparation
    Brown beef in butter.
    Sprinkle flour over beef and mix well. Add milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Mixture thickens as it heats.
    Let stand a few minutes before serving. May be served over bread (toasted) or fried potatoes.
