Mexican Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. raw rice
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 small can tomato puree
    8 oz. can peas
    1 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Fry rice in oil for about 5 minutes.
    Add onion and saute until onion is tender.
    Add tomato puree and 2 cups water.
    Let simmer for about 20 minutes. Add peas and remaining water.
    Cook until rice is tender.
