Apricot Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can apricots
    1 (1 lb.) can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. syrup from fruits
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. syrup from fruits or canned apricot nectar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. grated Longhorn cheese
Preparation
    Drain fruits, reserving syrup.
    Cut apricots into small pieces.
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water; then add 1 1/2 cups syrup from fruits and then cool.
    Add fruits, nuts and marshmallows. Pour into slightly oiled 9 x 13-inch pans.
    Chill until firm.
