Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cream
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine (not diet)
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cream and butter well.
    Boil in large kettle for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Pour onto a large greased plate or platter.
    Cool completely before cutting.
